I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to open your fridge and cupboards and realize that you have nothing that is “ok” to eat. This is a hard reality to be faced with for better health. Even something as simple as coming home and having a glass of wine or a beer is not possible. It seems like there has to be a way to get through this with somewhat normal food. Especially when there are people in the world that don’t have food or water.
Last night, I stopped at Mothers Market and found a few gluten free products after an hour of searching ingredients on the back of ever package I found the following: Amaranth Flakes, coconut almond granola, sweet potatoes, and red leaf lettuce. This of course after a stressed out call to my mother feeling completely upset that there was nothing that I could eat. She reminded me that I needed to focus on the list of items that I could eat.
