Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog. I feel like it is important for you to understand my motivation to be healthy while enjoying life. I have lived for so long concentrating on the glass being half empty rather than half full. This is my public commitment to change that way of thinking and just be happy.

Training and eating?!?

The most interesting element about my diet is really paying attention to how it makes me feel. I do feel better but at the same time am very conscious of my energy level. In the past I had food so narrowed down that I knew what I could eat to foster a good workout and generate more energy. Now I am completely confused. I think it takes a lot more balance with protein but am confident that there is a way to get the same effect as you do with simple carbs and simple sugar but am still working on what the ultimate results.

Menu:

Breakfast – oatmeal with almond milk

Lunch – quinoa with salt pepper and cheese

Snack – almonds

Dinner – Steak with rice and carrots

Dessert –coconut sorbet
