We ate out at the Palace restaurant in Santa Barbara to celebrate my friends Brant’s Meghan’s birthdays and it was so much fun. In the past I have been able to enjoy the piping hot molasses, apricot, and rosemary muffins that they serve on the table. Also they have this amazing bread pudding or chocolate soufflé that you have to order when you order dinner because it takes a while to cook. My go to dish is the jambalaya pasta which is off the list as well but nevertheless it wasn’t the food I missed it was the people. It was so great to be around truly authentic happy people and it made me want to move back!

Breakfast – pumpkin bread – omg…Miss Terry rocked the pumpkin bread! I need this amazing recipe and will post it immediately upon receipt!
Lunch – corn tortilla with turkey sheep’s milk cheese
Snack – more pumpkin bread
Dinner – tri tip with asparagus and sweet potato French fries
Dessert – abuleta Mexican chocolate with almond milk

Other Notables: Try the Abuleta (spelling?) its in the mexican food section in an yellow and red package with a granny on the front!
